Georges Hobeika @ Paris Fashion Week Fall 2016

Hoje apresento-vos a nova colecção de Outono/Inverno de Georges Hobeika. Esta é uma casa de moda de alta costura libanesa, fundada em 1995 pelo próprio Georges Hobeika. Esta casa de moda tem quatro linhas de roupa diferentes, tanto no grupo de pronto-a-vestir como no grupo de alta costura: Georges Hobeika Couture, Georges Hobeika Bridal, Georges Hobeika Signature e GH by Georges Hobeika. Ele já vestiu dezenas de celebridades, incluindo Diane Kruger, Marion Cotillard e Elle Fanning.

Today I present you guys the new Georges Hobeika’s Autumn/Winter collection. This is a Lebanese haute couture fashion house created in 1995 by Georges Hobeika himself. This fashion house has four different lines of clothing, either in the haute couture or ready-to-wear groups: Georges Hobeika Couture, Georges Hobeika Bridal, Georges Hobeika Signature and GH by Georges Hobeika. He has dressed dozens of celebrities, such as Diane Kruger, Marion Cotillard and Elle Fanning.

This is the first time that I am seeing and writing about a collection from this fashion house, but this without a single doubt one of my favourite collections from this season. This is a more formal collection than those I usually present here, but even so I believe it is still perfectly adequate for our lives. The use of neutral colours, such as black and white, is one of the main highlights of this collection, but also the use of dark colours, as purple and red. This collections presents the following trends: asymmetry (outfits 1, 5 and 10), transparency (outfits 1, 2, 3, 7, 8 , 14, 17 and 18), laced details (outfits 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 15, 15 and 17), embroidery (outfits 4, 7, 10, 14, 16 and 17), and patterns (outfits 4, 5 and 6). And I am utterly in love with outfit 6.

Esta é a primeira vez que vejo e que falo de uma colecção desta casa de moda, mas esta é sem dúvida uma das minhas colecções favoritas desta estação. É uma colecção um pouco mais formal do que algumas que tenho vindo a apresentar, mas mesmo assim penso que é perfeitamente aplicável às nossas vidas. A aposta em cores neutras, como o branco e o preto, é o principal destaque desta colecção, mas também o seu uso de cores escuras como o roxo e o vermelho. Esta colecção apresenta as seguintes tendências: assimetria (conjuntos 1, 5 e 10), transparência (conjuntos 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 14, 17 e 18), rendilhado (conjuntos 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 14, 15 e 17), bordados (conjuntos 4, 7, 10, 14, 16 e 17) e padrões (conjuntos 4, 5 e 6). E eu estou simplesmente apaixonada pelo conjunto 6.

Giambattista Valli @ Paris Fashion Week Spring 2016

Hoje vou apresentar-vos mais uma colecção. Esta é, então, a nova colecção de Primavera/Verão de Giambattista Valli. Esta é uma casa de moda italiana criada pelo próprio Giambattista Valli, por volta do ano de 2005. Esta cada de moda tem colecções em ambos os sectores de pronto-a-vista e alta costura. Tendo vindo a ser mostradas durante a Semana da Moda de Paris desde 2005, as suas peças de roupa já foram usadas por várias celebridades, incluindo Penélope Cruz, Natalie Portman, Zoe Saldana e Halle Berry.

Today I will be presenting yet another collection. This is the new Giambattista Valli‘s Spring/Summer collection. This is an Italian fashion house created by Giambattista Valli himself around 2005. This fashion house holds collections in both ready-to-wear and haute couture sectors. Being shown during the Paris Fashion Week since 2005, his pieces of clothing have been worn by many celebrities, such as Penélope Cruz, Natalie Portman, Zoe Saldana, and Halle Berry.

Even though it incorporates pieces of clothing with brighter colours, this collection is mostly characterised by the use of neutral colours, such as white and gray, and pastel colours, such as pink. One of the main features to be highlighted is also the fact that this fashion designer opted for an almost exclusive use of fluid pieces of clothing. As for the rest, these are the trends that we know so well by now: patterns (outfits 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9), chiffon (outfits 5, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12), embroidery (outfit 7), and the ever so used gladiator sandals, even though these ones present a slightly different model than that we’re used to.

Apesar de conter alguma peças com cor, esta colecção é basicamente caracterizada pelo uso de cores neutras (sobretudo o branco e o cinzento) e de cores pastel (como o rosa). Um dos principais aspectos a destacar é também a aposta que foi feita em peças fluídas. De resto, a colecção apresenta um conjunto de tendências já bastante conhecidas: padrões (conjuntos 5, 6, 7, 8 e 9), chiffon (conjuntos 5, 8, 9, 10, 11 e 12), bordados (conjunto 7) e as, cada vez mais utilizadas, sandálias de gladiador, ainda que num modelo um tanto ou quanto diferente daquele a que estamos habituados.

Christian Dior @ Paris Fashion Week Spring 2016

Hoje voltamos mais uma vez ao mundo da moda, a tempo de eu vos mostrar a nova colecção de Primavera/Verão da Christian Dior. Esta é uma companhia de produtos de luxo europeia que está sob o controlo de Bernard Arnault. Como é muitas vezes apenas referida, a Dior foi fundada em 1946 por Christian Dior. Para além da sua colecção de pronto-a-vestir (incluindo colecções para mulheres, homens e crianças), esta casa de moda conta também com uma linha de roupa de alta costura.

Today we are returning to the world of fashion, in time for me to show you the new Christian Dior’s Spring/Summer collection. This is an European luxury goods company that is currently under Bernard Arnault‘s control. As it is often only referred to, Dior was founded in 1946 by Christian Dior. Apart from its ready-to-wear collection (women, men and children collections included), this fashion house also has a haute couture clothing line.

This collection is completely somber (when compared with the previous I’ve shown), mostly due to the fact that it is based either on neutral colours, such as black and white, or pastel colours, which in this case are focused on purple. There is however a little explosion of colour with some clothing pieces in darker shades of blue and pink. Besides the clear emphasis on blazers (outfits 1, 2 and 4), this collection centres its attention on the following trends: transparent pieces of clothing (outfits 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12) – chiffon, knitwear (outfits 5, 6, and 7), floral pattern (outfit 12) and bodices (outfits 4, 5, 8, 10, 11 and 12). In terms of accessories, we can highlight the use of chokers in all the outfits of this collection.

Esta é uma colecção completamente sombria, pelo facto de se basear apenas ou em cores neutras, como o preto e o branco, ou em cores pastel, que neste caso centram-se apenas no lilás. Há contundo uma pequena explosão de cor com algumas peças em tons mais escuros de azul e cor-de-rosa. Para além de uma clara aposta em blazers (conjuntos 1, 2 e 4), esta colecção foca-se nas seguintes tendências: peças transparentes (conjuntos 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 e 12) – chiffon, peças de malha (conjuntos 5, 6 e 7), padrão floral (conjunto 12) e os bodices (conjuntos 4, 5, 8, 10, 11 e 12). Em termos de acessórios, é de destacar o uso de chokers em todos os conjuntos desta colecção.

Alexander McQueen @ Paris Fashion Week Spring 2016

Ano novo e um novo conjunto de colecções. Hoje apresento-vos a nova colecção de Primavera/Verão do Alexander McQueen. Esta é uma casa de moda britânica, que foi fundada pelo próprio Alexander McQueen, em 1992. No início, esta tinha apenas colecções para homen, mas os seus desfiles também incluem actualmente colecções para mulher. Alguns dos últimos trabalhos desta casa de moda, sob a direcção criativa de Sarah Burton, incluem a criação de vestidos para a Princesa Catherine, Duquesa de Cambridge.

New year new set of collections. Today I am presenting you guys the new Alexander McQueen’s Spring/Summer collection. This is a British luxury fashion house that was founded by Alexander McQueen himself in 1992. At the beginning it only had menswear collections but its catwalks now feature womenswear collections as well. Some of the latest works of this fashion house, under the creative directorship of Sarah Burton, include the design of dresses for Princess Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.

This collection has mostly made use of neutral colours, such as black but mostly white, still presenting a few details on brighter colours, such as red. There’s still room for a few pieces of clothing in pastel colours (blue and pink), so characteristic of these two seasons. I really like the fluidity in of some of the dresses, mainly the ones from the outfits 4 and 7, as well as the incorporation of laced details in some of these pieces of clothing (outfits 1, 2, 3 and 12). Other features include: transparency (outfits 1, 6, 9, 11 and 12), frills (outfits 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12), fur (outfit 10) and maxi-dresses (outfits 1, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 10). Even though it sort of reminds me of century-old pieces of clothing, my favourite outfit is the second one.

Esta colecção fez um uso majoritário de cores neutras, como o preto mas sobretudo o branco, ainda que se tenham presentes alguns detalhes em cores mais vivas, como o vermelho. Há ainda lugar para outros detalhes em cores pastel (azul e rosa), tão características destas duas estações. Eu gosto bastante da fluidez de alguns dos vestidos, sobretudo daqueles dos conjuntos 4 e 7, bem como da incorporação de detalhes rendilhados em alguns das peças (conjuntos 1, 2, 3 e 12). Outras características incluídas: transparência (conjuntos 1, 6, 9, 11 e 12), folhos (conjuntos 3, 6, 7, 8, 9 e 11), pêlo (conjunto 10) e maxi-vestidos (conjuntos 1, 4, 5, 6, 7 e 10). Apesar de me fazer lembrar peças de séculos passados, o segundo conjunto é o meu favorito.

Balenciaga @ Paris Fashion Week Fall 2015

Com a estreia de vários filmes durante este mês, esta rubrica ficou um pouco no esquecimento. Já com o Outono instalado – se calhar, instalado até demais -, hoje é altura de eu vos apresentar mais uma colecção de uma casa de moda internacional. Esta é a vez de vos apresentar a nova colecção Outono/Inverno da Balenciaga.

Due to the premiere of several films during this month, this rubric has been a little bit on stand-by. But since it’s already Autumn – a bit on the Winter side though -. there’s not better time for me to present you guys another collection from an international fashion house. Today is time for me to present the newest Balenciaga’s Autumn/Winter collection.

Balenciaga is a Spanish-French fashion house founded in 1919 by Cristobal Balentziaga Eizagirre. Even though it was created by this Basque fashion designer and its first boutique was opened in the Basque country, its headquarters quickly changed to Paris, France, during the Spanish Civil War. Currently, this fashion house is owned by Kering, a luxury company. Balenciaga gowns have been worn by celebrities and royals, including Queen Fabiola of Belgium.

A Balenciaga é uma casa de moda espano-francesa fundada em 1919 por Cristobal Balentziaga Eizagirre. Apesar de ter sido criado por este estilista basco, e de a sua primeira boutique ter sido aberta no País Basco, a sua sede rapidamente mudou-se para Paris, França, durante a Guerra Civil Espanhola. De momento, esta casa de moda faz parte da Kering, uma empresa de luxo. Peças de roupa da Balenciaga têm vindo a ser usadas por celebridades e membros de casas reais, including a Rainha Fabiola da Bélgica.

Ao contrário do que se verificou para as últimas duas colecções (que podem ver aqui e aqui), esta colecção da Balenciaga é muito mais sóbria e neutra, pelo que as cores de destaque são o preto, o cinzento e o verde-cinza. No entanto, há ainda traços de vermelho, dourado e prateado. Aliás, uma das tendências desta colecção é exactamente o metalizado (conjuntos 11 e 12). Para além disto, podemos encontrar as seguintes tendências: assimetria (conjunto 6), malha (conjuntos 5 e 6), saias-lápis (conjuntos 7, 8, 9, 11 e 12) e, ainda, o uso de diversos padrões e texturas. O meu conjunto favorito é exactamente o último.

Contrary to what we saw for the last couple of collections (that you can check here and here), this collection from Balenciaga is a lot more sober and neutral, which explains the predominance of black, grey and grey-green. However, there are still traces of red, gold and silver. Moreover, one of the trends of this collection is actually the metallic effect in pieces of clothing (outfits 11 and 12). Furthermore, we can also find the following trends: asymmetry (outfit 6), knitwear (outfits 5 and 6), pencil-skirts (outfits 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12), and the use of diverse types of patterns and textures. For this reason, my favourite outfits is precisely the last one.

Balmain @ Paris Fashion Week Fall 2015

Fazendo uma pequena pausa nas minhas sugestões cinematográficas – ainda que por pouco tempo -, hoje trago-vos mais um post sobre as novas tendências de Outono/Inverno para o mundo da moda. Para quem não está familiarizado, estes posts têm como objectivo apresentar estas tendências através de colecções de pronto-a-vestir de casas de moda internacionais. Por isso, hoje apresento-vos a nova colecção de Outono/Inverno da Balmain.

I am now doing a small break on my cinematographic suggestions – even though not for that long -, and today I am bringing you guys a new post about the Autumn/Fall trends for the fashion world. For those of you who aren’t that familiar with this rubric, the main goal of these posts is to present the new trends through ready-to-wear collections of international fashion houses. So today I present you guys the new Balmain’s Autumn/Winter collection.

Balmain is a French fashion house, founded in 1914 by Pierre Balmain. Since its creation, many have been the celebrities who have chosen to wear Balmain, such as Ava Gardner, Brigitte Bardot, Angelina Jolie and Penelope Cruz. From the most famous French fashion houses, this one is by far one of my favourites. As I’ve said sometimes over the previous years, Balmain is also able to create realistic collections, i.e., collections whose pieces of clothing are very easy to incorporate in our daily outfits.

A Balmain é uma casa de moda francesa, criada em 1914 por Pierre Balmain. Desde a sua criação que a Balmain tem vestido diversas celebridades, incluindo Ava Gardner, Brigitte Bardot, Angelina Jolie e Penelope Cruz. Das casas de moda francesas mais conhecidas, esta é sem dúvida uma das minhas favoritas. Como já mencionei algures nos anos passados, a Balmain também consegue produzir colecções bastante realistas, ou seja, colecções cujas peças de roupa são fáceis de incluir nos nossos conjuntos de dia-a-dia.

Tal como se pôde ver para a última colecção que vos apresentei (cujo post podem ver aqui), a Balmain também apresenta um leque de cores bastante diversificado e bem colorido, por assim dizer. As cores neutras como o preto e o branco continuam a estar nos lugares de destaque, mas o que na realidade sobressai nesta colecção é o amarelo e o laranja. De resto, pode-se contar com tendências que já têm vindo a ser apresentadas nos últimos posts: rendilhado (conjuntos 5, 6 e 9), transparência (conjuntos 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 e 10), padrões (conjuntos 2, 3, 7, 8 e 11), vestidos compridos (conjuntos 6, 8, 9, 10 e 11), metalizado (conjuntos 2 e 3), pêlo (conjunto 2) e camurça (conjunto 4). Finalmente, o conjunto 4, por exemplo, apresenta uma tendência conhecida no mundo anglófono como “colour block”, que consiste na conjugação de duas our mais cores fortes e de destaque. Este é por acaso um dos meus conjuntos favoritos desta colecção.

As we saw for the last collection I presented you guys (whose post you can read here), Balmain also presents a very diversified and colourful group of colours, as a matter of speaking. Neutral colours as black and white will be a constant presence for this Autumn/Winter – as it always is -, but the true highlight in this collection goes to the yellow and orange colours. As for the rest, we can count with a few of the trends that I have been talking about in the previous posts: laced (outfits 5, 6 and 9) and transparent (outfits 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10) pieces of clothing, patterns (outfits 2, 3, 7, 8 and 11), maxi-dresses (outfits 6, 8, 9, 10 and 11), metallic (outfits 2 and 3) pieces of clothing, fur (outfit 2), and suede (outfit 4). Lastly outfit 4, for instance, represents another trend – colour block -, which consists in the combination of two or more solid  and bright colours in an outfit.

Chloé @ Paris Fashion Week Spring 2015

E hoje é a vez de voltarmos ao mundo da moda. É a primeira vez que estou a apresentar esta casa de moda, mas honestamente já o deveria ter feito à mais tempo. Sem dúvida, uma das minhas colecções favoritas até ao momento. É elegante, delicada e feminina. Mas sem mais demoras, hoje apresento-vos a nova colecção de Primavera/Verão da Chloé.

And today is time to go back to the fashion world. This is the first time that I am presenting this fashion house, but honestly I should have done it a long time ago. This is without a doubt one of my favourite collections so far. It’s graceful, delicate and feminine. But without further ado, today I present you guys the new Chloé‘s Spring/Summer collection.

Chloé is a French fashion house founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion. This fashion house belongs to the company Richmond Group. Chloé has dressed many celebrities such as Marion Cotillard, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Emma Stone and Clemence Poésy. Apart from its ready-to-wear collection, this fashion house also has collections in the accessories, perfumery and children’s wear departments.

A Chloé é uma casa de moda francesa fundada em 1952 por Gaby Aghion. Esta casa de moda faz agora parte da empresa Richemont Group. A Chloé tem vestido celebridades como Marion Cotillard, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Emma Stone e Clémence Poésy. Para além da sua colecção de pronto-a-vestir, esta casa de moda conta também com colecções de acessórios, perfumes e roupa para crianças.

Algo que claramente se destaca nesta colecção é um maior uso de tons escuros (como o preto e o azul escuro, e até mesmo o castanho). No entanto, as tonalidades mais claras não deixam de estar igualmente presentes (como o azul claro ou o branco). De modo geral, estas são as principais tendências presentes nesta colecção: sandálias de gladiador (presentes em quase todos os conjuntos), transparência (conjuntos 10, 11 e 12), rendilhado (conjunto 8), padrões (conjuntos 7 e 12) e camurça (conjunto 9). Por algum motivo, o vestido da imagem 10 fez-me lembrar automaticamente da Arwen Undómiel, da trilogia Senhor dos Anéis.

Something that clearly stands out from this collection is the bigger use of dark tons (such as black and dark blue, and even brown). However, light tons are still equally present (such as light blue or white). Generally speaking, these are the main trends present in this collection: gladiator sandals (presents in almost all outfits), transparency (outfits 10, 11 and 12), laced pieces of clothing (outfit 8), patterns (outfits 7 and 12) and suede (outfit 9). For some reason, the dress in the picture 10 reminds me a lot of Arwen Undómiel, from the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Miu Miu @ Paris Fashion Week Spring 2015

Hoje é tempo de fazermos mais uma visita ao mundo da moda. Esta nunca foi uma marca que me chamou muito à atenção, mas nos últimos anos tenho-me apaixonado pelas suas colecções. E a deste ano não é uma excepção. Assim deixem-me apresentar-vos a nova colecção de Primavera/Verão da Miu Miu.

Today is time for another trip to the world of fashion. This was never a brand that caught much of my attention, but I have been falling in love with its collections in the past couple of years. And this year’s is not an exception. Let me present you guys the new Miu Miu’s Spring/Summer collection.

Once more, we’re are in the presence of an exception, compared to what I’ve been posting since I started this Spring/Summer rubric. This is merely an example of a brand, yet a luxury brand. Miu Miu belongs to Prada and it was created in 1993. Nowadays, it is headed by Miuccia Prada (granddaughter of Mario Prada – the funder of Prada). Known for it’s ready-to-wear and accessories collections, this brand is set to launch its first fragrance in 2015. With boutiques open all over the world, Miu Miu is also present in Portugal since 2012.

Mais uma vez, estamos perante uma excepção aos posts que tenho vindo a publicar. Este é apenas um exemplo de uma marca; marca esta de luxo. A Miu Miu pertence à Prada e foi criada em 1993. Actualmente, esta marca está nas mãos de Miuccia Prada (neta de Mario Prada – o fundador da Prada). Conhecida pelas suas colecções de pronto-a-vestir e de acessórios, está previsto para 2015 o lançamento desta marca no campo da perfumaria. Com boutiques abertas nos quatro cantos do mundo, a Miu Miu encontra-se também presente em Portugal, desde 2012 (podem ver aqui um post referente a esta loja).

O principal destaque vai para a variedade de cores utilizadas nesta colecção: desde os tons mais neutros (como o preto e o branco) e escuros (como o roxo escuro, nos conjuntos 1, 3 e 5), até aos tons mais claros (como o rosa e o branco). A diversidade de padrões é também um das principais tendências (como podem ver nos conjuntos 3, 7, 8, 9, 10 e 12). Para além disto, podemos também encontrar as seguintes tendências: cabedal (conjuntos 1 e 4) e saias de cintura subida (conjuntos 3, 5, 10, 11 e 12). Por último, o uso de tons pastel são apresentados nos casacos dos últimos três conjuntos; casacos estes que são lindíssimos. Estes são sem dúvida as minhas peças favoritas.

The variety of colours used in this collection is the main highlight we can make: from neutral tons (such as black and white) and darker tons (as the dark purple in outfits 1, 3 and 5), to lighter tons (such as pink and white). The diversity of patterns is also one of the main trends (as you can see in outfits 3, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12). Apart from this, we can still find the following trends: leather (outfits 1 and 4) and high-waisted skirts (outfits 3, 5, 10, 11 e 12). Finally, the use of pastel colours is shown in the coats of the last three outfits; coats that I find to be absolutely beautiful. These are without a doubt my favourite pieces of clothing.

Valentino @ Paris Fashion Week Spring 2015

E hoje mudamo-nos para Paris para eu vos apresentar mais uma colecção. As pequenas pesquisas que eu faço para estes posts permitiram-me compreender que a expressão “cada de moda” é algo bastante restrito, embora seja vulgarmente usada. Dentro do que chamamos de marcas de luxo, existem umas quantas excepções que são mais comercias. Mas sem mais demoras, hoje apresento-vos a nova colecção de Primavera/Verão da Valentino.

And today we move to Paris so I can present you guys another collection. The small google researches I do to make these posts allowed me to understand that the term “fashion house” is something quite specific, even though it is vulgarly used. Under what we usually call luxury brands, there are a few exceptions that are more commercial. But without further ado, today I present you guys the new Valentino’s Spring/Summer collection.

Valentino is a fashion house owned by the Valentino Fashion Group. As a clothing company, it was founded in 1965, in Milan, by Valentino Garavani. This fashion house has not only a ready-to-wear collection, but also footwear, glasses, perfumes, watches and accessories collections. Valentino has also dressed the former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, the late Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon, and Elizabeth Taylor.

A Valentino é uma casa de moda que pertence ao Valentino Fashion Group. Como uma empresa de Moda, foi ela foi fundada em 1965, em Milão, por Valentino Garavani. Esta casa de moda tem não só uma colecção de pronto-a-vestir, como colecções de calçado, óculos, perfumes, relógios e acessórios. A Valentino também já vestiu a antiga primeira dama Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, a Princesa Margaret, Condessa de Snowdon, e Elizabeth Taylor.

Embora aqui apenas vos mostre seis conjuntos, esta colecção dá um grande destaque ao azul. É talvez uma cor mais indicada para o Outono/Inverno, mas para mim é uma cor perfeita para qualquer altura do ano (como podem subentender, é a minha cor favorita). Fora disto, a aposta continua a ser em tons neutros (branco e preto) e em tons pastel (conjuntos 13, 14, 15, 20, 21 e 22). A variedade de padrões nesta colecção é ilimitada, como podem ver nas primeiras duas montagens. Apesar de ser uma colecção de Primavera/Verão, não deixaram de incorporar peças de malha. Por último, é ainda de destacar as seguintes tendências: rendilhado (conjuntos 2, 3, 13, 16, 17 e 18), transparência (conjuntos 8, 14, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 e 24) e sandálias de gladiador (presentes em quase todos os conjuntos).

Even though I am only showing six outfits, this collection gave a huge emphasis to the colour blue. This colour is probably better suited for the Fall/Winter, but for me it is a perfect colour to wear all year round (as you may subtly understand it is by far my favourite colour). Apart from this, there’s still room for the usual neutral colours (white and black) and pastel colours (outfits 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, and 22). The diversity of patterns used in this collection is unlimited, as you can see in the first two picture sets. Despite the fact that this is Spring/Summer collection, they still incorporated knit sweaters. Lastly, we can still highlight the following trends: laced (outfits 2, 3, 13, 16, 17, and 18) and transparent pieces of clothing (outfits 8, 14, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24), and gladiator sandals (present in almost all outfits).

I must say that I never paid much attention to this brand before, but let me tell you guys, this is without a doubt my FAVOURITE collection! It is absolutely gorgeous and perfect. The chose colours, the textures, the models of the pieces of clothing, the footwear, the accessories (the handbags are beautiful), I love love every detail of this collection. The detail that I like most in this collection if the ocean inspiration present mainly in the dresses in the last picture set. Choosing just one outfit is impossible, so I will opt by choosing the outfits in the first picture set as my favourite ones (even though I like all of them equally).

Devo dizer que nunca dei muita importância a esta marca mas só vos digo que esta é sem dúvida a minha colecção FAVORITA! A colecção é absolutamente linda e perfeita. As cores escolhidas, as texturas, os modelos das peças, o calçado, os acessórios (as malas são lindíssimas), adoro adoro cada detalhe desta colecção. O detalhe que mais gosto nesta colecção é a inspiração no oceano usada sobretudo nos vestidos da última montagem. Escolher um só conjunto é impossível, por isso vou optar por escolher os conjuntos da primeira montagem como os meus favoritos (embora goste igualmente de todos).

E mais uma vez estamos de volta ao mundo da moda. Admito que esta é uma casa de moda à qual nunca prestei muita atenção, mas esta é sem dúvida uma das colecções de que mais gostei. E honestamente penso que esta colecção é uma óptima representação da Primavera e do Verão. Hoje apresento-vos a nova colecção de Primavera/Verão de Andrew Gn.

And once again, we are back into the fashion world. I will admit that this is a fashion house which I have never paid much attention to, but this has become, without a doubt, one of the collections that I liked the most. And honestly, I think that this collection is a great representation of both Spring and Summer. So today I will show you guys the new Andrew Gn‘s Spring/Summer collection.

In 1996, Andrew Gn created this fashion house, in Paris, to which he gave his own name. As seen in so many other fashion houses that I’ve already shown you guys, several celebrities have been using Andrew Gn’s pieces, including Sarah Jessica Parker, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Céline Dion.

Em 1996, Andrew Gn criou esta casa de moda, em Paris, à qual deu o seu próprio nome. Tal como tantas outras casas de moda de que já vos falei, várias celebridades usam peças de Andrew Gn, entre as quais, Sarah Jessica Parker, Gwyneth Paltrow e Céline Dion.

Continuando na mesma temática da colecção anterior que vos mostrei (podem ver o seu post aqui), esta colecção também é bastante colorida, ainda que em moldes diferentes. De um modo geral, as novas tendências voltam a centrar-se em torno do uso de cores vivas, acabando mesmo por criar conjuntos arrojados, em que várias cores são misturadas. Exemplo disto são os conjuntos 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11 e 12. No entanto, as cores neutras continuam em alta, como o preto, o branco, o cinzento e as tonalidades mais claras das restantes cores.

Continuing with the same theme as the one in the last collection that I’ve shown you guys (you can see its post here), this collection is also very colourful, yet in a different form. Generally speaking, the new trends are centred around the use of bright colours, ending up by creating really bold outfits, in which different colours are mixed with each other. Examples of this are the outfits number 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, and 12. However, neutral colours are still very much present, such as black, white, grey, and lighter tons of the remaining colours.

We can still highlight the following trends: black and white outfits (as the 2nd one) and patterns (outfits 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16). Honestly, I really like each and every one of these pieces of clothing, which is why I find it so hard to just pick one favourite. The dress from outfit 5 is just absolutely beautiful and dashing, not only for the model of the dress itself, but also for its floral pattern. The dress from outfit 13 and both coats from outfits 15 and 16 are also some of my favourite pieces of clothing.

Podemos ainda destacar as seguintes tendências: conjuntos preto e branco (como o segundo) e padrões (conjuntos 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 e 16). Honestamente, eu gosto tanto de todas as peças, pelo que me é quase impossível escolher uma favorita. O vestido do conjunto 5 é absolutamente lindo e elegante, não só pelo modelo em si do vestido, mas também pelo padrão floral. O vestido do conjunto 13 e os casacos dos conjuntos 15 e 16 também são algumas das minhas peças favoritas.
