Eurico de Barros (O Observador) caracteriza este filme como sendo sisudo e pretensioso. Este crítico refere mesmo que este filme é “macrocéfalo no orçamento, na tecnologia, no aparato de efeitos digitais, na concepção das personagens, e microcéfalo em tudo o resto, da originalidade da história à capacidade narrativa, passando pela simples satisfação emocional do espectador“.
