Is there a special, magical, out-of-this-world way of cooking rice that makes every freaking college student go bananas when they finally master it? ‘Cause I’ve been cooking rice for at least half of my life and no-one ever complained about the taste of it, and I just freaking boil water, add salt and the rice, and then I’ll just taste it as it cooks until I find it cooked enough. And let’s say I find it really weird to cook rice in one of those rice-cookers. Isn’t it an easy thing to make?
Don’t take me wrong, I just feel completely clueless here. It’s just one of those things we hear others speaking about and we have no idea of what’s going on.
