Alberta Ferretti @ Milan Fashion Week Spring 2016

Hoje apresento-vos a nova colecção de Primavera/Verão da Alberta Ferretti. Esta é uma casa de moda italiana criada por Alberta Ferretti, nos anos 60. Para além da sua coleção de pronto-a-vestir, esta casa de moda também conta com uma colecção de vestidos de noiva. E esta estilista também têm uma segunda colecção, à parte, designada de New Philosophy.

Today I am presenting you guys the new Alberta Ferretti‘s Spring/Summer collection. This is an Italian fashion house created by Alberta Ferretti herself, sometime in the 1960s. Apart from ready-to-wear collections, this fashion house also has its own bridal collection. This fashion designer also has a side-collection called New Philosophy.

This is a more sober collection that the one previously presented here. This collection is mostly characterised by an abundance of clothing in black, brown and grey; colours which are usually associated with Autumn and Winter, but that are nevertheless more and more present in Spring and Summer collections. Besides the traditional trends that have been highlight in the past years, such as laced and transparent pieces of clothing (outfits 1, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12), many times seen together, and a variety of patterns (outfit 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9), yet a bit limited in this case… the truth is that this collection centres around two main trends: 1) the use of chiffon and/or georgette (outfits 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12); 2) and a clear inspiration in the 1970s (outfit 7, 8 and 9), which isn’t news for us. Lastly, we mustn’t forget the gladiator sandals which are making a comeback.

Esta é uma colecção mais sombria do que a anterior, com uma abundância de peças de roupa em preto, castanho e cinzento; cores estas que costumam ser associadas às estações de Outono e Inverno, mas que estão cada vez mais presentes nas colecções de Primavera e Verão. Para além das tradicionais tendências que se têm visto nos últimos anos, como peças rendilhadas e transparentes (conjuntos 1, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11 e 12), muitas vezes conjugadas, e uma variedade de padrões (conjuntos 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 e 9), ainda que aqui um tanto ou quanto limitados… a verdade é que esta colecção centra-se em duas principais tendências: 1) o uso de chiffon e/ou georgette (conjuntos 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11 e 12); 2) e uma clara inspiração nos anos 1970s (conjuntos 7, 8 e 9), que não é contudo uma novidade. Por último, as sandálias gladiadoras também vieram para ficar, mais uma vez.
