Andrew Gn @ Paris Fashion Week Spring 2014

Em primeiro lugar, obrigada pelos vossos comentários no meu último post. Em segundo lugar, hoje voltamos mais uma vez a esta temática. Estamos no último mês em que vou publicar esta rubrica. Por finais do Verão, irei trazer-vos, depois, novas tendências, mas já para as estações de Outono e Inverno. Por enquanto, continuamos com as novas tendências para a Primavera e Verão e, por isso, apresento-vos hoje a nova colecção do Andrew Gn.

Firstly, thank you for your comments on my last post. Secondly, today we’re once back to fashion matters. This is going to be the last month in which I’ll be posting about this rubric. By the end of this Summer, I’ll then bring you guys the new trends, but this time for the Fall and Winter seasons. But for now, we’re still stuck with the new trends for the Spring and Summer season, so today, I’ll show you guys this year’s Andrew Gn Spring/Summer collection.

In 1996, Andrew Gn created this fashion house, in Paris, to which he gave his own name. As seen in so many other fashion houses that I’ve already shown you guys, several celebrities have been using Andrew Gn’s pieces, including Sarah Jessica Parker, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Céline Dion. I didn’t know this fashion house until I started working on these posts, but I was really pleased with the pieces of clothes that were shown in this collection.

Em 1996, Andrew Gn criou esta casa de moda, em Paris, à qual deu o seu próprio nome. Tal como tantas outras casas de moda de que já vos falei, várias celebridades usam peças de Andrew Gn, entre as quais, Sarah Jessica Parker, Gwyneth Paltrow e Céline Dion. Eu não conhecia esta casa de moda até ter estado a preparar estes posts, mas fiquei bastante agradada com as peças que foram apresentadas nesta colecção.

Como tem sido a norma por estes lados, o preto é uma cor que irá estar bem presente nesta Primavera/Verão, algo que temos visto em todas as colecções até agora. A esta cor podem-se adicionar outras cores-tendências: o azul e verdes escuros, o castanho, o cor-de-rosa e, ainda, o branco (também outra cor sempre presente nestas colecções). Para além destas tendências, também se podem realçar outras: o metalizado (como nos conjuntos das imagens 5 e 8); padrões (como nos conjuntos das imagens 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9 e 10). Honestamente, eu gosto imenso de todos os conjuntos e peças, mas penso que o vestido (na imagem 11) é simplesmente lindo e perfeito, pelo que é o meu conjunto favorito.

As we’ve seen until now, black is a colour that will always be present during this Spring/Summer. We can add other colour-trends to this colour: dark blue and green, brown, pink, and white (another colours that will always be present these season too). Apart from these trends, we cal highlight a couple of others: the metallized effect (as shown in the outfits in images 5 and 8); and patterns (as shown in the outfits in images 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10). Honestly, I really like all the outfits and every single one of the pieces of clothes, but I thick that the dress (in the 11th imagem) is absolutely gorgeous and perfect, which makes it my favourite outfit.
